Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh India/(Uttar Pradesh) Student Student Department of Biochemistry I want to study the various delivery strategies/methods used in RNA interference and advance concepts of RNA INTERFERENCE(RNAi) mechanism. (2) Why I consider this proposal as important? Delivery strategies in RNA interference (RNAi) are important because the effectiveness of RNAi therapeutics heavily depends on the successful and targeted delivery of RNA molecules to specific cells or tissues within the body. My focus will be on studying currently present concepts of delivering the RNAi agents and if possible finding new ways to deliver RNAi agents to specific targets, aiming to enhance precision in gene silencing for potential therapeutic applications. Precise and efficient delivery enhances the therapeutic potential of RNAi, making it a more viable option for treating a variety of diseases at the genetic level. (3) Requirements in terms of materials and facilities. Well-equipped molecular biology and cell culture laboratories for experimental work. RNAi Molecules like siRNA, delivery Vehicles, Quantitative PCR Kits to assess gene expression levels after RNAi treatment etc.and MOST IMPORTANTLY someone from the faculty members to guide me and help in understanding the theoretical and experimental science behind this mechanism.
