Dr. Tanu Bhardwaj is a Senior Project Associate in the Department of Medical Biotechnology at Gujarat Biotechnology University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. She has more than four years of teaching and research experience. She has an interdisciplinary background, which includes knowledge of Electronics, Instrumentation, Bioelectronics, Microfluidics, Software docking tools, and Molecular Biology (Aptamers). She earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D), India. She was awarded with two awards during her PhD “Dogra Education Endowment Award for best scientific publication by IITD and Best Scholar Award in Biomedical Engineering by International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation. She cleared her NET-JRF in Electronics. She graduated in B.A.Sc (Hons.) Instrumentation from the University of Delhi, India followed by post-graduation in M.Sc. Bioelectronics and Instrumentation from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. She was the third University Rank Holder in her graduation and University Gold Medalist in her post-graduation. Her areas of interest include Biosensing, Instrumentation, Lab-on-a-chip, Microfluidic chips, Microfabrication, Aptamers, Aptamer generation (SELEX), Aptasensing, and Docking Simulations.
