I am working as Research Associate while awaiting to defend my Ph.D. thesis. The thesis work is related to discovery of novel RNA motifs across bacterial genomes and understanding the RNA-mediated gene regulation in bacteria. While carrying out this research, I have gained skills in several RNA, protein sequence and structure analysis and gained knowledge in bacterial biology and therapeutics. Going forward I am trying to incorporate machine learning and try to study eukaryotic systems for RNA-mediated gene regulations that can be targeted using RNA therapeutics.
