I have recently submitted my PhD in Nanomedicine from the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi. My PhD work is based on “Nanotherapeutics for chronic inflammation” and particularly focused on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in arthritic rat model by using targeted nanoparticle-based drug delivery approach. Also, I have awarded Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt of India for my PhD work. Previously, I was served as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India funded project at the same department. During JRF, I have synthesized metal-polymer nanocomposites for siRNA delivery to manage osteoporosis. My scientific interest includes nanoparticles synthesis, their conjugation with biomolecules and characterization for biomedical applications. Prior to join PhD from University of Delhi, I was selected for in-country PhD program of TERI-The Energy and Research Institute, India and Deakin University, Australia and Research Assistant position in China Medical University, Taiwan. I also have some brief experience from TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre, Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) and CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, India where I have learned some basics of nanoparticles synthesis, exosome isolation, their characterization, mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
