Admission policy

  • Only the online mode is used by NSTC to accept applications for any of its online courses. No other method of application will be accepted or encouraged.
  • The applicant must completely fill out the application form and submit accurate information. 
  • After submitting the application, the candidate must participate in a phone verification process. In the situation that candidate is unable to attend, he or she must call the admissions office to engage in a telephone verification. Following a week of inactivity without verification, the application will be put to rejection status. 
  • Before enrolling for any NSTC programme, the candidate should be aware of the eligibility requirements.
  • Candidates for any programme at NSTC are chosen solely on the basis of their qualifications and merit.
  • If an applicant is denied for a course, he or she will not be encouraged to apply for another course for at least the next three months.
  •  Applications for multiple courses submitted by the same applicant will not be processed at the same time. Any one of the applications will be considered for processing.

Payment policy

  • After paying the fees, each eligible NSTC ( Nano Science and Technology Consortium) applicant will be allowed to continue with the programme. 
  • Any of the authorized payment ways specified in the online web portal/ website of the admission department should be used to pay the fees. 
  • Any payment to NSTC ( Nano Science and Technology Consortium) or its legal associate SKILLZIP exposes the applicant/payee to any risks that are typically associated with payment methods. Any concerns that emerge during the payment process or money release should be addressed directly by the applicant/payee to the service providers, such as online payment businesses, banks, and other financial institutions. 
  • Following the successful payment of the money, the applicant will be given the information needed to begin the learning process. 
  • The admissions team will follow a methodical procedure to enroll the applicant in the programme. The process will be completed in its own time frame and will not be rushed by the applicant for any reason. 
  • The applicant will only receive payment acknowledgement via the internet. At the moment of joining, the relationship desk can provide you with an online receipt. 
  • In the case of registration fees, payment acknowledgement will be sent via email within 7 days after the payment date upon request. 
  • The registration costs paid will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. 
  • Candidates who have enrolled for the programme but have not started the course by the deadline will be automatically rejected from future participation in the programme. The candidate may be allowed to continue the programme at a later date based on a request/permission from the admissions department. The registration payments have a six-month validity period.

The application will be rejected if any of the candidate details provided in the application are discovered to be inaccurate or false.

Regular internship policy

  • Internship is a period of time during which interns (students) who are enrolled in an internship programme (very short term, short term, or long term internship) participate in routine activities of NSTC's research and development unit and/or its legal associates. 
  • Interns were expected to participate in the standard processes of doing or completing research during this time under the direction of the NSTC's principal or associate investigators. 
  • The interns are given the research works (in whole or in part) in order to practice conducting or doing research under excellent laboratory practises. 
  • All registered interns must adhere to the NSTC's Roles and Responsibilities; if found to be overruling, the person will be taken to management supervision and appropriate action will be taken. 
  • The intellectual property of the NSTC and its legal associates is a research work that is (a conceptual, theoretical, or practical work) being done or executed at NSTC under the internship programme. 
  • Interns who participate in the center's research projects have no intellectual property rights in the research process or the final research output of the projects they work on at NSTC. 
  • Interns who want to publish a portion of their research work might sign up for the contribution list. 
  • The NSTC Management determines whether or not a research project (in whole or part) is eligible for publication with the names of interns. 
  • If it is discovered that an intern is processing a publication or patent for research undertaken at NSTC, the intern will be placed in the negative category and appropriate action will be taken.

Online course policy

  • NSTC's online courses will only be available in an online format. 
  • The course should be taken on a desktop or laptop computer. Learners can also use any other sort of electronic device, such as a cell phone or tablet, to access the NSTC course portal. However, for the best learning experience, we recommend that learners use a desktop or laptop computer. 
  • Learners should participate actively in learning forums while adhering to the forum policies. 
  • The NSTC course portal can be accessed quickly and easily over the Internet. 
  • Since the manner of study is entirely online, a learner must have consistent access to a reliable internet connection with a minimum of 1 Mbps speed. 
  • The learner should not make excuses to postpone his or her course activities due to a lack of internet connectivity or for any other reason. 
  • Only online access to NSTC's learning materials will be available. There will be no downloaded or other printed versions of the learning materials (e.g. pdf or printable materials). During the course duration, the student has unrestricted access to the learning resources via the NSTC online course portal. The materials will be archived once the course session has ended, and learners will be able to access them at any time online. 
  • Learners should participate in the learning forum on a regular basis (the percentage of attendance will be taken in to consideration.) The attendance will be determined by the learner's frequency of login and involvement in the NSTC online course portal's regular learning forums. Also, during the final course completion assessment, the percentage of attendance will be taken into account. 
  • Learners will have access to tutoring in order to obtain clarifications.
  • Learners who are discovered to have broken the policy or who have been absent from the online learning system for an extended period of time will face disciplinary action. The learner will receive an email warning. Unless a good justification is provided, learners who do not respond to the disciplinary mail will be temporarily barred from accessing the NSTC online course portal. Learners who do not reply to the temporary suspension will be permanently barred from accessing the NSTC online course portal. Further The learner will not be able to take the final exam required to complete the course. Learners who have been permanently removed from the NSTC online course site will only be reassessed in the next batch if there is a solid reason. In this case, costs for the course extension will be charged in order to continue. 
  • In NSTC, candidates must follow the dignity code. Disciplinary action will be taken against any students who engage in any malicious behaviour, such as uploading content that is harmful to other students or the online school environment. 
  • If any difficulties arise during login or accessing the learning forums, the learners should intimate the management through email or phone call in a proper manner; technical team will assist the learner to sort out the issue within 24 to 48 working hours. The duration mentioned here may vary based on the criticality of the issue. 
  • The learner will be barred from accessing the NSTC online course site if he or she uses or misuses the learning materials without first informing the management. 
  • Alumni will be granted access to the archived course materials after the course has been successfully completed. Tutor help, on the other hand, will be unavailable once the course has ended. 
  • Learners should not entrust their learner or alumni privileges to any third parties. Unauthorized use of the NSTC's online course portal will be deemed a misuse, and the management council will take appropriate action. 
  • The online courses' examinations will be performed entirely online. 
  • The learner will have access to the examination desk only on the specified examination date. 
  • The student should be directly involved in the examination and should not enlist the help of any outside parties. 
  • Learners will not be able to use the standard learner desk on the day of the exam. 
  • Absentees will not be given a separate examination; nevertheless, they will be allowed to participate in the following batch examination and will be charged the examination fee(s). 
  • The test will follow the pattern of a choice-based question paradigm. 
  • Learners who engage in any unethical behavior during the online assessment will have their scores withheld. 
  • The online exam will be held for the specified time period only. The learner will not be able to extend the examination, and the online examination desk will be successfully closed at the end of the allotted period. 
  • In order to attend the examination, the learner must have the appropriate facilities (such as power, uninterrupted internet access, and so on). There will be no explanations, postponements, or re-examinations given for the disruption caused by the learner. 
  • The effectiveness of the learner will be assessed based on his or her performance during the learning time and during the online examination. 
  • A learner must receive a minimum of 40% in order to successfully complete an online course at NSTC. 
  • Any learner who fail to score 40 percent through his/her overall performance in the course period will be considered as fail and will be requested to reappear for the examination. And in such instances necessary examination fee must be paid by the learner in order to reappear in the examination. 
  • Only after the written examination will the evaluation be carried out. 
  • The evaluation findings will be announced only on the day set by the NSTC tutor council. 
  • Under no circumstances will any learner's results be announced early. 
  • Following the completion of the evaluation, NSTC will issue a certificate for the course taken. 
  • Only learners who successfully finish the course with scores of more than or equal to 40% will receive a certificate. 
  • For individuals who chose a hard copy certificate, the certificates would be sent through the postal system in India. 
  • Those who requested an e-certificate will receive their certificates via email. 
  • The certificates will be sent to the learner's postal address listed on their application form, which they dutifully filled out Upon their admission. 
  • It is the learner's responsibility to offer a valid communication address and to update it with the admissions cell if it changes. 
  • The loss or destruction of certificates during transportation is not the responsibility of NSTC or its representatives. 
  • Learners can ask for a duplicate certificate if their original is lost or damaged. The fees for duplicate certificates must be paid by the students. Duplicate certificates will also be sent via the mail system, as previously stated. 
  • The online verification method can also be used to track the certification. It is the learner's responsibility to double-check the contents of the original and online certifications. Any errors in the online certification should be reported as soon as possible. 
  • NSTC will not issue any separate certificates claiming COURSE COMPLETION. 
  • The web site allows you to trace any certificate granted by NSTC. After getting the hard copy certificate, it is the student's responsibility to check the online certificate. Any problems with the hard copy or online certification must be resolved within 45 days of the NSTC sending the certificate. The hard copy certificate will only be valid if the online certification contains the same information. 
  • If a learner's fault is discovered after the course is completed and certification is issued, the certificate's validity will be revoked, and the certificate will no longer be valid. 
  • At the time of request, the students must provide confirmation of identity as well as proof of address. Any false proof may cause the NSTC management to revoke the learner's permission to continue with the programme. 
  • The course price is non-refundable after it has been paid. However, if the applicant wishes to cancel the registration before the start of the course for personal reasons, the course cost will be partially returned after deduction of application handling and other banking/transaction expenses. 
  • If a candidate wishes to withdraw from an online course after it has begun for personal reasons, the cost will not be returned. 
  • After the official start of the course time, the student will not be able to convert from one course to another new course.

Online internship policy

  • NSTC's online internship will be conducted entirely online. 
  • Interns should attend the course using a desktop or laptop computer. Interns can also use any other sort of electronic device, such as a cell phone or tablet, to access the NSTC online internship site. However, for the best learning experience, we recommend that interns use a desktop or laptop computer. 
  • Interns should participate actively in the learning forums while adhering to the forum's standards. 
  • The NSTC online internship portal can be accessed quickly and easily via the Internet. 
  • Since the intern will be learning entirely online, he or she will need to have a reliable internet connection with a minimum of 1 megabit per second. 
  • The intern should not make excuses for not completing his or her course activities due to a lack of internet connectivity or other factors. 
  • Only online access to NSTC's learning materials will be available. There will be no downloadable or other printed versions of the learning materials (e.g. pdf or printable materials). During the programme, the learner will have unrestricted access to the learning materials via the NSTC online internship site. 
  • The intern should participate in the learning forums on a regular basis (the percentage of attendance will be taken in to consideration.) Attendance will be determined by the intern's frequency of login and participation in the NSTC online internship portal's regular learning forums. Also, during the final course completion assessment, the percentage of attendance will be taken into account. 
  • Interns will be provided with mentor help in order to obtain clarifications. 
  • Interns who are discovered to have broken the policy or who have been absent from the online learning system for an extended period of time will face disciplinary action. The interns will be notified via email. Interns who do not respond to the disciplinary email will have their access to the NSTC online internship system temporarily stopped until they provide a solid reason. Interns who do not answer after the temporary suspension will be removed from the NSTC online internship system permanently. In addition, in order to finish the internship, the intern will not be permitted to attend the viva. Interns who have been permanently removed from the NSTC online learning system will only be reviewed in the next batch if there is a valid explanation. In this case, fees for the programme extension will be charged in order to continue. 
  • In NSTC, interns must follow the dignity code. Learners who engage in any malicious activity, such as uploading content that affects other interns or the online campus environment, will face disciplinary action. 
  • If any problems develop while logging in or accessing the learning forums, interns should notify management as soon as possible via email or phone contact; the technical staff will assist the learner in resolving the issue within 24 to 48 working hours. The time frame given above may change depending on the severity of the problem. 
  • Any improper usage or misuse of learning materials by the intern without notifying management may result in the intern being barred from using the NSTC online internship site. 
  • Learners in internships have access to materials till the end of the programme duration.
  • Interns should not give their intern rights to anyone else. Unauthorized use of the virtual campus will be deemed a misuse, and the management council will take appropriate measures. 
  • The viva for the online internship will take place entirely online.
  • The intern should be directly involved in the examination and should not enlist the help of any third parties. 
  • Absentees will not have a separate viva; however, the intern will be eligible to participate in the next batch viva and will be charged the examination fee(s). 
  • Interns who engage in any unethical behavior during the online viva will have their results withheld. 
  • The findings of the evaluation will be announced only on the mentor council's appointed date. 
  • Under no circumstances will any learner's results be announced early. 
  • Following the completion of the evaluation, NSTC will issue a certificate for the course taken. 
  • The certificates will be sent through the Indian postal system (India post).

  • To complete an internship successfully, an intern must receive a minimum of 40% of the marks. 
  • Interns will be offered a free grace period to complete their internship after their original programme has ended. The duration of the free grace period will be determined by the pricing option selected by the intern at the time of admission. After the free grace period, the intern must pay for the extension if he or she was unable to complete the internship by the grace period's end. 
  • The interns are given online projects in order to strengthen their abilities relevant to the internship's chosen employment role. The interns should complete the tasks according to the instructions provided and submit them in the required manner through the portal.

The plagiarism restrictions are rigorously followed by our mentor panel. All assignments must be free of plagiarism. The interns should not submit the submissions of their co-interns in any way. Before submitting the document, the interns should double-check it. Under normal conditions, resubmission will not be permitted. If any plagiarized text or incorrect submissions are discovered, the interns will be notified via email for the first time only. If the same intern engages in the same type of action on a regular basis, the online internship access will be cancelled without warning. The intern will be required to submit a proper justification for his or her inappropriate task submission behavior. The mentor panel will consider reactivating the access if any appropriate justifications are received. If the intern is unable to provide a suitable reason or explanation, he or she will be permanently removed from the programme. No part of the enrolment money will be reimbursed, and the intern will not receive a certificate.

Grade policy

NSTC follows the following grade system:
  • 90 and above = Outstanding (S)
  • 80 and above = Very good (A)
  • 70 and above = Good (B)
  • 60 and above = Satisfactory (C)
  • 40 and above = Sufficient (D)
  • 20 and above = Not sufficient (E) and
  • Below 20 = Unfair (U)
