- Define review scope and formulate questions using PICO/PECO/SPIDER/PCC
- Design Boolean search strings and select appropriate databases
- Organize references and remove duplicates with Zotero
Module 2: Day 2 – Screening, Data Extraction & Quality Appraisal
- Screen titles, abstracts and full texts using Rayyan
- Track inclusion/exclusion decisions and create a PRISMA flow diagram
- Build data‑extraction tables and conduct risk‑of‑bias appraisal with CASP, JBI, RoB 2 & ROBINS‑I
Module 3: Day 3 – Evidence Synthesis & Meta‑Analysis Basics
- Differentiate narrative, quantitative and meta‑analysis synthesis approaches
- Calculate effect sizes and choose fixed‑ or random‑effects models
- Interpret forest and funnel plots and prepare PRISMA‑compliant reports
