Dr. Janmejoy Gupta, is the Dean in the Department of Architecture at the University of School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, (An Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Government of India), Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Architecture from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi (Deemed to be University) in 2017. Then worked as an Assistant Professor (2011-2018) and then Associate Professor (2018-till date) in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, respectively for 12 Years. Inclusive of 6 years of Industrial Experience, he is having total 18 Years of Experience in the field of Architecture, Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning. His Area of Expertise includes: Energy-Efficient Buildings, Thermal Performance of Buildings, Climate Responsive Architecture, Passive Design Startegies in Built Forms, Natural Ventilation, Green Buildings, Sustainable Urban Forms, Sustainable Urban Planning and Vernacular Architecture. Dr. Aqsa is an Assistant Professor and researcher with over a decade of professional experience in academia and research, specializing in Criminal Law. She has supervised 40 undergraduate theses and served as a project coordinator for the ‘Standardized Module for Legal Awareness Program,’ a project undertaken by Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with the National Commission for Women in 2014. She has published six papers in reputed law journals and has presented numerous papers at national seminars and conferences on legal issues.
