Dr. Md Afroz Alam is a Professor and Head in the Department of Bioinformatics, at Shalom New Life College, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, Himachal Pradesh in 2009. Then he has worked as Assistant Professor, Head and Program Coordinator in the Department of Bioinformatics at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed University) for 11 Years. He is having 14 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Bioinformatics. Mr. Rajnish Tandon is a seasoned industry professional with 35+ years of global experience across India, the USA, and Europe, spanning Sales Management, IT Operations, SAP Implementation, and AI/ML. He is a guest faculty at institutions including Chandigarh University, NIFT Delhi, and IIM Kashipur, where he teaches AI/ML, Blockchain, and Critical Thinking. He completed an M.Tech in AI-ML from BITS Pilani (2024), holds an MBA from FMS (1996), and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT Jaipur (1985).

Dr. Garima Singh is a Researcher in Biomaterials and Biopolymers at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and serves as a Scientific Technical Officer at Reinste Nanoventures. Her work focuses on bacterial cellulose, biopolymers, nanomaterials, and the development of functional biomaterials for advanced applications. She has authored multiple research papers and book chapters, and has presented her research at national and international conferences. Dr Harishchander Anandaram is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering and Networking, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioengineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, in 2020. In his PhD thesis, he worked on pharmacogenomics and miRNA- regulated networks in psoriasis, a joint project with Georgetown University, USA, JIPMER, INDIA, CIBA, INDIA, and ILS, INDIA. His thesis illustrated a multi-disciplinary approach by combining computational biophysics and molecular biology machine learning. Also, he had the opportunity to collaborate with international researchers and have publications in reputed international journals in bioinformatics and systems biology simultaneously. He has received the prestigious “Young Scientist Award” from “The Melinda Gates Foundation” for his research abstract on “The Implications of miRNA Dynamics in Infectious Diseases”. To date, he has reviewed more than 200 manuscripts in systems biology. He is currently working on predicting Novel lead molecules and biomarkers using computational techniques to target inflammatory pathways associated with infectious and autoimmune disorders.

Dr. Pooja Devi is a Principal Scientist at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh. She is affiliated with the Materials Science and Sensor Application Department of CSIR-CSIO. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Engineering (Materials) from the Academy of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi in 2018. She has been working as a scientist at CSIR-CSIO since 2010. She is having 12 years of experience in the field of materials. Her major research interest includes materials design for green hydrogen production, water/air pollutants degradation, and water pollutants monitoring, materials engineering, techniques, and associated affordable and portable devices development for water pollutants detection, degradation, green hydrogen production, air purification, etc. She has filed 03 patents, 02 design registration, 01 copyright, transferred 02 technology, published 84 international high-impact publications, edited 07 books, 22 book chapters, 90 conference papers, and delivered 60 invited/oral talks. She has received funding/fellowships from DST, SERB, CSIR, ACS, IUSSTF, etc., for various projects.
