AI-Powered Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon Intelligence
Measure Carbon. Identify Hotspots. Build Smarter Sustainability Decisions with AI.
About This Course
AI-Powered Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon Intelligence is a 3-day hands-on workshop designed to help participants understand life cycle assessment, carbon footprint modeling, emission hotspot detection, and sustainability dashboard development using practical tools such as Excel, OpenLCA, Python, Google Colab, Power BI, and introductory Brightway2. Participants will learn how to calculate carbon emissions, analyze activity data, identify high-impact life cycle stages, and create simple carbon intelligence dashboards for research, ESG reporting, product design, and sustainability decision-making.
Aim
The aim of the AI-Powered Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon Intelligence workshop is to help participants understand and apply practical methods for assessing carbon emissions across product and process life cycles using LCA principles, carbon footprint modeling, AI-assisted data analysis, and dashboard-based sustainability decision-making.
The workshop focuses on enabling participants to calculate emissions, analyze sustainability datasets, identify carbon hotspots, compare reduction scenarios, and create simple carbon intelligence dashboards using tools such as Excel, OpenLCA, Python, Google Colab, Power BI, Google Sheets, and introductory Brightway2.
Workshop Objectives
The objective of this workshop is to provide participants with practical knowledge of AI-assisted life cycle assessment and carbon footprint analysis. The workshop aims to help learners understand how activity data, emission factors, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions are used in carbon modeling, and how AI, Python, OpenLCA, and dashboard tools can support emission analysis, hotspot detection, scenario comparison, and sustainability reporting.
