Skills you will gain:
About Program:
AI in Warfare & International Humanitarian Law is a high-impact international workshop designed to explore how AI technologies—such as autonomous drones, predictive targeting, surveillance systems, and decision-making algorithms—are transforming modern warfare.
As states and defense agencies deploy increasingly autonomous weapon systems (AWS), this workshop facilitates a much-needed dialogue between military strategists, legal scholars, ethicists, and AI technologists. Participants will learn about the legal frameworks governing armed conflict, the ethical constraints on lethal autonomy, and the current and future role of international law in regulating military AI.
