Dr. Mian Adnan Kakakhel is a Research Associate in the College of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at China Three Gorges University, Yichang, China. He earned his PhD from Lanzhou University (2022) and completed his postdoctoral research at China Three Gorges University (2025). With 3+ years of research experience in aquatic biology, toxicology, and nanotechnology, his work focuses on emerging pollutants, aquatic pollution, nano-toxicity, and fisheries-related research, including fish physiology and behavior.

Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 129; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He retired as Professor in AcSIR, Chief Scientist, and Head of Advanced Materials Technology Department of CSIR- IMMT, Bhubaneswar, in 2016. He has contributed significantly in various fields of Materials Science and Engineering. His contribution towards the development of Advanced Materials through the thermal plasma route from ores and minerals and solid wastes generated from mineral-based industries is particularly praiseworthy.
