Dr. GAURAV MUDGAL is an Associate Professor in the University Institute of Biotechnology within Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. Previous to this he headed science clusters at Auronya College, Pondicherry and Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. He is a La Caixa fellow, and received his Ph.D. Degree in Molecular Biosciences with the highest distinction from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain in 2014 with his work on molecular biology of coronavirus-host interactions realized at the CSIC center of excellence -National Center of Biotechnology. He had previously worked as a nationally recruited scientific officer at the CGIAR headquarters of ICRISAT in Hyderabad and had handled many projects related to transgenic crop developments. He is having 16 years of research experience in biotechnology. His area of Expertise includes: Molecular biology of virus-host interactions, plant-microbe interaction, plant and animal biodiversity, underutilized crop translations and bioremediation. He is the author of many publications with the journals like PLOS, MDPI, Nature, Springer, Elsevier and Taylor & Francis and a recipient of a core research grant of 4.3 million INR for his work on DNA barcoding and morphometrics on Indian tardigrades.

Dr. Debashree De is a seasoned scientific writer (Ex-novartis) with 15 years of research experience. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Structural Biology and Biochemistry from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology in 2012 and earned her postdoctoral from Centro di Rierca E. Menni, Fondazione Poliambulanza- Istituto Ospedaliero, Brescia, Italy. She worked as a Scientific Research Writer and Lead Development Manager for BrainAura, a startup company based out of India and the UK and also as a senior scientific writer in novartis. Dr Harishchander Anandaram is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering and Networking, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioengineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, in 2020. In his PhD thesis, he worked on pharmacogenomics and miRNA- regulated networks in psoriasis, a joint project with Georgetown University, USA, JIPMER, INDIA, CIBA, INDIA, and ILS, INDIA. His thesis illustrated a multi-disciplinary approach by combining computational biophysics and molecular biology machine learning. Also, he had the opportunity to collaborate with international researchers and have publications in reputed international journals in bioinformatics and systems biology simultaneously. He has received the prestigious “Young Scientist Award” from “The Melinda Gates Foundation” for his research abstract on “The Implications of miRNA Dynamics in Infectious Diseases”. To date, he has reviewed more than 200 manuscripts in systems biology. He is currently working on predicting Novel lead molecules and biomarkers using computational techniques to target inflammatory pathways associated with infectious and autoimmune disorders.

Dr. Abhishek Aher is a Project Scientist at the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology. He received his Ph.D. Degree in anti-cancer research from Centre for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics, Hyderabad, in 2023 and earned his postdoctoral from Lab of Immunology, CDFD Then working as a Project Scientist in CCMB. He has 9 Years of Experience in the field of Cancer drug discovery & development. His Area of Expertise includes Drug Discovery & Development for Cancer & Parkinson’s Disease. He is the author of 9 research articles many awards.

Ms. Daina Yesuraj is a Lecturer in the GUCR department at the University of Dubai. She is pursuing her Ph.D. Degree in Marine biotechnology from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy since 2023. She has more than 10 years of combined experience in the field of teaching and research. Her area of expertise includes: sustainability and seaweed biotechnology. With eight years of research experience, her expertise is centered on the preparation, characterization, and fabrication of low-dose X ray detectors.Her research focuses on the development of inorganic nanostructured materials with varied morphologies, including perovskite-based semiconductors, polymer-based nanocomposites,biomaterials, and metal oxide nanomaterials.Dr. Karthieka got hands on experience in the synthesis of nanomaterials through various methods and trained many post graduate students during her doctorate degree. Additionally, her industrial expertise in thin-film fabrication for organic photovoltaic (OPV) and organic photodetector (OPD) devices development, experience on various large area coating techniques, translating theoretical knowledge into industrial application.

Dr. Kusuma Jagadish is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. She earned her PhD in Nanotechnology (2020) from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University and has 9 years of experience in materials science and nanotechnology. Her expertise includes materials synthesis for energy applications, particularly photovoltaics and third-generation solar cells. She has published 21 peer-reviewed articles and is a recipient of the WISE–KIRAN PDF Award (2024).

Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur holds an MCA degree from Punjab Technical University (2010) and has over 7 years of IT industry experience as a Senior Software Developer in various companies. Her expertise lies in front-end technologies, data structures, and algorithms (DSA).

A Cyber Law research scholar currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Legal Sciences, School of Law, Shoolini University (Solan), with an LLM in Constitutional Law (CGPA 8.75) and a B.A. LL.B (Eco. Hons.) specializing in International Law.
