Dr. Mian Adnan Kakakhel is a Research Associate in the College of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at China Three Gorges University, Yichang, China. He earned his PhD from Lanzhou University (2022) and completed his postdoctoral research at China Three Gorges University (2025). Prof. Tinku Basu is the Founder Director of Amity Centre for Nanomedicine at Amity University, Noida, with a PhD from IIT Kharagpur in 1993. Since 2003, she has been a driving force in nanomedicine, specializing in sensor development. Prof. Basu’s impactful contributions include mobile app-based sensors for pesticides, COVID antibodies, and diabetes management. Her research spans electrochemical diagnostic biosensors, precise synthesis of materials like reduced graphene oxide, metal organic frameworks (MOF), and anisotropic metal nanoparticles. Noteworthy inventions include hand-held biosensors for Aflatoxin B1, triglyceride biosensors with extended shelf life, and reusable cholesterol and glucose sensors. With over 50 international publications in peer-reviewed journals and 7 granted patents out of 22 filed, Prof. Basu is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Dr Shama Parveen is a Sustainability Consultant at Kognoz Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram and Gender Equality Advisor at GreenLungs Earth Foundation, Faridabad. She has received her Ph.D. Degree in Environmental Ethics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2019 and is working on her postdoctoral research proposal entitled, “Ecology of Gender”. She was a lecturer at Jawaharlal Nehru University from 2017-2018, NavGurukul Social Welfare Foundation, Delhi from June 2022- December 2022.
