Prof. Tinku Basu is the Founder Director of Amity Centre for Nanomedicine at Amity University, Noida, with a PhD from IIT Kharagpur in 1993. Since 2003, she has been a driving force in nanomedicine, specializing in sensor development. Prof. Basu’s impactful contributions include mobile app-based sensors for pesticides, COVID antibodies, and diabetes management. Her research spans electrochemical diagnostic biosensors, precise synthesis of materials like reduced graphene oxide, metal organic frameworks (MOF), and anisotropic metal nanoparticles. Noteworthy inventions include hand-held biosensors for Aflatoxin B1, triglyceride biosensors with extended shelf life, and reusable cholesterol and glucose sensors. With over 50 international publications in peer-reviewed journals and 7 granted patents out of 22 filed, Prof. Basu is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Recognitions include the Global Centre for Excellence Education awards by the Japan Govt in 2011 and 2014, and the Best Paper of the Year from King Abulaziz City for Science and Technology in 2013. Prof. Basu’s expertise in translational research, nano biosensors, electrochemical synthesis, and stable conducting polymers has left an indelible mark in the scientific community. She is a respected reviewer for journals like Springer, Elsevier, and ACS.

Dr Harishchander Anandaram is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering and Networking, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioengineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, in 2020. In his PhD thesis, he worked on pharmacogenomics and miRNA- regulated networks in psoriasis, a joint project with Georgetown University, USA, JIPMER, INDIA, CIBA, INDIA, and ILS, INDIA. His thesis illustrated a multi-disciplinary approach by combining computational biophysics and molecular biology machine learning. Also, he had the opportunity to collaborate with international researchers and have publications in reputed international journals in bioinformatics and systems biology simultaneously. He has received the prestigious “Young Scientist Award” from “The Melinda Gates Foundation” for his research abstract on “The Implications of miRNA Dynamics in Infectious Diseases”. To date, he has reviewed more than 200 manuscripts in systems biology. He is currently working on predicting Novel lead molecules and biomarkers using computational techniques to target inflammatory pathways associated with infectious and autoimmune disorders.

Mr. Sourav Mohanto is currently working as a Project Associate-II under Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Karnataka, India. He has previous working experience as academician for 3.5 Years, and also worked as Patent Research Analyst for a year. His expertise includes Drug delivery science, Materials Science, Biomaterials development and characterizations, Molecular docking, etc. He is the authors of 54 publications, 07 books, 10 Intellectual Property Rights, recipient of Young Researcher Award-2023, Best Researcher Award-2024, Best Poster Presentation award, Best Oral presentation award, etc., by various national and international organizations. Dr. Sukumar Roy is an Indian Chemist and Scientist. He is the visionary former Additional General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited’s Ceramic Technological Institute. With over 32 years at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, he led various in-house R&D projects, focusing on nano-structured materials, ceramic membranes, SCR catalysts, electrical insulation, and acoustic paints. Holding a Ph.D. from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Dr. Roy has worked at esteemed institutions like the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research. He has published over 100 articles, guided numerous students, received prestigious academic awards, served on expert committees, and delivered over 200 invited lectures globally. He is also a recipient of several national & international academic awards; notable ones are German Academic Exchange Fellowship (DAAD), UNDP-UNIDO Fellowship, Max Planck Society Research Fellowship, CSIR Research Fellowship, DST-IACS Scholarship, Merit Scholarship (Govt. of West Bengal) etc. He has also served as a member in certain expert advisory committees in the country (DST, Ceramic Technology; Centre for nanoscience & nanotechnology, Univ. of Madras) and a Board Member in academic curriculums of various institutions from time to time in his profession. Dr. Noopur Singh is a freelance researcher in the field of Bioinformatics. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics from Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 2023. Before that, she worked as a JRF at the DBT-funded bioinformatics facility at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi.
