Prof. (Dr.) Kamini Chauhan Tanwar is a distinguished academician and researcher in Behavioral and Allied Sciences. She currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department at the Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology, Amity University, Haryana. With over two decades of experience, she has held prominent positions, including Associate Dean at K.R. Mangalam University and Officiating Dean at SGT University, where she implemented NEP 2020 guidelines, supervised Ph.D. scholars, and introduced innovative academic programs.
Dr. Tanwar earned her Ph.D. in Child Psychology from Aligarh Muslim University, focusing on socially withdrawn behavior among children. Her research interests span clinical psychology and behavioral sciences, with over 29 published papers in reputed journals, authored books, and several psychometric tools developed under her name. She has presented more than 40 research papers globally and has been honored with awards such as the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award (2021).
As a leader, Dr. Tanwar has been instrumental in establishing counseling centers, psychological labs, and advanced training programs. She actively contributes as an editor for leading journals and holds memberships in esteemed organizations like the American Psychological Association (APA).
