Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California−Berkeley, Malaya and Al-Ahsa. With 46 books, over 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, over 19,500 citations and a Hirsch Index currently at 75, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. In the recent Stanford University study, he was ranked among the world’s top 0.5% scientists, and among the top 100 Indian scientists, independent of the area of specialisation. Among numerous coveted honours and awards received by him are the National Design Award in Environmental Engineering, the IPCL award for Safety and Hazard Management in Petroleum Industries, the National Hydrology Award, the International Desalination Association’s prize, and fellowships of the National Academy of Sciences and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers

Dr. Darshan Panda is a Scientist in the Department of Crop Physiology & Biochemistry at the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Bidyadharpur, Cuttack. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology from Ravenshaw University in 2022. He is working currently as a Scientist at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack. He has published his research findings through the publication of over 50 articles in esteemed academic international journals. He has 10 years of experience in the fields of plant physiology, molecular biology and biotechnology. His area of expertise includes crop photobiology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, tissue culture and biotechnology. He is the author of two textbooks in biotechnology and microbiology.

Dr. Indra Neel Pulidindi works as an assistant professor at Saveetha Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) & Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Thandalam, Chennai, India. He serves as a Scientific Consultant at JSCIAR, India. He has also been rendering his services as a Visiting Professor at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, in the research group of Professor Sabu Thomas. His specialisation lies in Composites (CFRPs), Biofuels and Biochemicals, Catalysis, Fuel Cells, Carbon materials and Heteropoly Acids. Dr. Nabeel Ahmad is Dean at School of Allied Sciences and Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Over 14 year of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has published several research papers in National and International peer reviewed journals. He also served as Editor in three books on nanobiotechnology namely 3 D Printing Technology in Nanomedicine, Intelligent Nanomaterials for Drug Delivery Applications and Emerging Nanotechnologies for Medical Applications published by Elsevier Pennsylvania USA. He also serving as eminent member of Editorial Board of Journal of International repute. In addition to that, seven patents are also in his credit on nanobiotechnology and discussion is going on to transfer the technology to three organizations to commercialize the same. Recipient of prestigious fellowship including the Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) fellowship under Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Department of Science & Technology (DST) New Delhi. He is the Fellow of Linnean Society (FLS) London. His areas of research are nanobiotechnology, nanosensors, and bioprocess engineering.

Dr. Saroj Kumar Singh obtained M.Tech. & Ph.D (Materials Science) from I.I.T., Kharagpur. He retired as Professor in AcSIR, Chief Scientist, and Head of Advanced Materials Technology Department of CSIR- IMMT, Bhubaneswar, in 2016. He has contributed significantly in various fields of Materials Science and Engineering. His contribution towards the development of Advanced Materials through the thermal plasma route from ores and minerals and solid wastes generated from mineral-based industries is particularly praiseworthy. He has developed and designed various plasma reactors indigevously for the above purposes. He completed several projects in Plasma Processing as PI and team members funded by different sponsor agencies such as DST, NALCO, IRELTD, DMSRDE. CSIR, BRNS, NMDC, MoM, MoS, Vedanta Ltd., etc.

Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy Poonuru is a Professor in the Pharmaceutics Department of St. Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Kakatiya University. He received his Ph.D. Degree in 2017 from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2017. Then worked as a Associate Professor in St. Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences University for 20 Years.
