Dr. Sukumar Roy is an Indian Chemist and Scientist. He is the visionary former Additional General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited’s Ceramic Technological Institute. With over 32 years at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, he led various in-house R&D projects, focusing on nano-structured materials, ceramic membranes, SCR catalysts, electrical insulation, and acoustic paints. Holding a Ph.D. from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Dr. Roy has worked at esteemed institutions like the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research. Dr. Gargi Dutta is a PhD-trained chemist (Organometallic Chemistry, IIT Kanpur) with expertise in cobaloximes, porphyrin/corrole-based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis, including CO₂ fixation. She has held research roles at Technion (Israel) and IISc Bengaluru, and has served in industry as Research Manager at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, focusing on analytical method development for APIs.
