Dr. Ramesh Kumar Singh is a retired Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding at the Banaras Hindu University of Varanasi. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Banaras Hindu University University in 1981. Then worked as a Professor in Genetics and Plant Breeding, Banaras Hindu University for 15 Years. He is having 36 Years of Experience in the field of Microbial Genetics. His area of expertise includes: Cell Biology, Plant-Microbe Interaction and Bacterial Genetics. He is recipient of many project grants from UGC, CSIR, Department of Biotechnology and Department of Science and Technology, guided 15 Ph.D students, published 45 research papers awarded with Biotechnology National Award.

He is also a Senior Professor of Biophysics and Bio-Engineering at SBE&LS at Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed-to-be-University), Meerut. He has earned M. Tech. in Biotechnology and Engineering from the Department of Chemical Engineering of IIT, Kharagpur, a Ph.D. from BITS, Pilani, and also earned the Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration. He was honoured with D.Sc (h.c.) by IUCM, Colombo, Sri Lanka for his extraordinary contribution to producing large-scale biomass or herbal medicine production. He was also a Research Faculty at the Department of Botany at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, and the Department of Biological Sciences at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. Dr. Chakravarthi Mohan is currently working as General Manager, certifications at the Indian society for certification of organic products (ISCOP), Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Dr. Pooja Devi is a Principal Scientist at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh. She is affiliated with the Materials Science and Sensor Application Department of CSIR-CSIO.
