Dr. Janmejoy Gupta, is the Dean in the Department of Architecture at the University of School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, (An Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Government of India), Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Architecture from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi (Deemed to be University) in 2017. Then worked as an Assistant Professor (2011-2018) and then Associate Professor (2018-till date) in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, respectively for 12 Years. Inclusive of 6 years of Industrial Experience, he is having total 18 Years of Experience in the field of Architecture, Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning. His Area of Expertise includes: Energy-Efficient Buildings, Thermal Performance of Buildings, Climate Responsive Architecture, Passive Design Startegies in Built Forms, Natural Ventilation, Green Buildings, Sustainable Urban Forms, Sustainable Urban Planning and Vernacular Architecture. Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California−Berkeley, Malaya and Al-Ahsa. With 46 books, over 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, over 19,500 citations and a Hirsch Index currently at 75, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. Dr. R.R. Karthieka currently serves as a Research Scientist at Silveray Ltd., United Kingdom. She earned her Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, from the University of Madras in 2023. Prof. Tinku Basu is the Founder Director of Amity Centre for Nanomedicine at Amity University, Noida, with a PhD from IIT Kharagpur in 1993. Since 2003, she has been a driving force in nanomedicine, specializing in sensor development. Prof. Basu’s impactful contributions include mobile app-based sensors for pesticides, COVID antibodies, and diabetes management. Her research spans electrochemical diagnostic biosensors, precise synthesis of materials like reduced graphene oxide, metal organic frameworks (MOF), and anisotropic metal nanoparticles. Noteworthy inventions include hand-held biosensors for Aflatoxin B1, triglyceride biosensors with extended shelf life, and reusable cholesterol and glucose sensors. With over 50 international publications in peer-reviewed journals and 7 granted patents out of 22 filed, Prof. Basu is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Recognitions include the Global Centre for Excellence Education awards by the Japan Govt in 2011 and 2014, and the Best Paper of the Year from King Abulaziz City for Science and Technology in 2013. Dr. A.V. Ullas is an Assistant Professor in the Nanotechnology program at the Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) AKTU Lucknow. He received his Ph.D.Degree in Applied Chemistry from Delhi Technological University(DTU) in 2018. Then worked as an Assistant Professor in Plastics Engineering at CIPET Lucknow from Aug 2017-2019.
