Dr. Kumar earned his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering (2021) from UPES, Dehradun, with research focused on semantic information extraction using deep learning, particularly for agricultural applications. He is also pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship at Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana, Mexico. A prolific researcher, he has published 21+ SCI/SCIE-indexed articles and additional Scopus publications, contributed to books and book chapters, and holds a granted patent. He has supervised PhD candidates and delivered workshops and T3 sessions in machine learning, business analytics, and optimization, with interests spanning deep learning, IoT, and cybersecurity.

Tech. in Biotechnology and Engineering from the Department of Chemical Engineering of IIT, Kharagpur, a Ph.D. from BITS, Pilani, and also earned the Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration. He was honoured with D.Sc (h.c.) by IUCM, Colombo, Sri Lanka for his extraordinary contribution to producing large-scale biomass or herbal medicine production. He is the former Principal Scientist in the Department of Infection and Immunology, Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad, Haryana, India. Gayathri is a Senior Scientist in the KSCSTE- Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (JNTBGRI), Department of Phyto-chemistry and Phyto-pharmacology Division at the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), Govt. of Kerala. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology from University of Kerala in 2006 and earned her postdoctoral from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, Govt. of India. Then working as a Senior Scientist in KSCSTE-Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (JNTBGRI)Institute/University for 5 Years. She is having 15 Years of Experience in the field of Pharmacology and Material Science. Her Area of Expertise includes: Plant Secondary metabolites to nanomaterials, biomaterials, Toxicology.
