Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California−Berkeley, Malaya and Al-Ahsa. With 46 books, over 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, over 19,500 citations and a Hirsch Index currently at 75, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. In the recent Stanford University study, he was ranked among the world’s top 0.5% scientists, and among the top 100 Indian scientists, independent of the area of specialisation. Dr. SWATI SOLANKI is a Senior Project Associate in the OLP project of the National Institute Of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR) in CSIR-PUSA Campus New Delhi. She received his/her Ph.D.Degree in Biotechnology from Amity University in 2024 and earned 2 years of research experience in CSIR-NIScPR from 2017 to 2019. As the founder of Lawet, he aims to foster significant societal impacts through legal channels. Currently, he is a proactive member of the climate change education research community at Cambridge University Press, the World Commission on Environmental Law of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and the United Nations Ocean Decade Network. His efforts are dedicated to advancing sustainable development and promoting animal protection. Ghosh’s commitment extends beyond the courtroom as he contributes to research and policy development, aiming to address critical environmental issues globally. His work not only underscores his dedication to environmental advocacy but also his belief in the power of law to effectuate substantial change in society.

Dr. Debasish Sarkar is a Professor in the Department of Ceramic Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. He received his Ph.D. degree in Ceramic Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, in 2007. He earned his postdoctoral from the Korea Research Institute of Standard and Science, Daejeon, South Korea. He then worked as a Professor at NIT for 14 Years. He has 26 Years of Experience in Nanoceramics, Bioceramics, and High-Temperature Ceramics. His Area of Expertise includes: Nanoparticles, Ceramic Processing and Fabrication, Microstructure and Mechanical Properties Simulation, and Design and Analysis of Structural Ceramics. He is the author of peer-reviewed 65 SCI publications, four books (CRC Press, Springer-Nature, Wiley), five book chapters, 6 National and International Patents, Govt. of India and Industry sponsored projects with a cost of more than Rs.3.5 crore, and recipient of the MRSI medal 2016, and many more.

Dr. Ruby Singh is the Director, Department of Bioinformatics at Gevanam Genomics Company, Lucknow. She earned her PhD in Biotechnology (2020) from Amity University and brings 6+ years of R&D experience, including roles as a Research Assistant at Biogenix, Lucknow and as a Medical Researcher at Crazy Fox Creations, Lucknow. Her expertise includes cell culture, microbiology, bioinformatics, and review writing. She has 8 publications and has edited 1 book in aquaculture and bioinformatics.

Dr. Gargi Dutta is a PhD-trained chemist (Organometallic Chemistry, IIT Kanpur) with expertise in cobaloximes, porphyrin/corrole-based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis, including CO₂ fixation. She has held research roles at Technion (Israel) and IISc Bengaluru, and has served in industry as Research Manager at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, focusing on analytical method development for APIs. She is also experienced in quality systems and standards through work with BIS and is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) with strong teaching and research supervision credentials.

Dr. Shubham Jaju is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, Telangana. He received his MD degree in 2023 from Kaloji Narayana Rao University. Then, he worked as a Senior Resident in Osmania Medical College for a year. He is having 4 years of experience in the field of Pharmacology. His area of expertise includes Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapeutics, Research and Clinical Trials and Drug Safety. He is the author of several scientific articles.

Dr. GAURAV MUDGAL is an Associate Professor in the University Institute of Biotechnology within Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. Previous to this he headed science clusters at Auronya College, Pondicherry and Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. He is a La Caixa fellow, and received his Ph.D. Degree in Molecular Biosciences with the highest distinction from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain in 2014 with his work on molecular biology of coronavirus-host interactions realized at the CSIC center of excellence -National Center of Biotechnology. He had previously worked as a nationally recruited scientific officer at the CGIAR headquarters of ICRISAT in Hyderabad and had handled many projects related to transgenic crop developments. He is having 16 years of research experience in biotechnology. His area of Expertise includes: Molecular biology of virus-host interactions, plant-microbe interaction, plant and animal biodiversity, underutilized crop translations and bioremediation. He is the author of many publications with the journals like PLOS, MDPI, Nature, Springer, Elsevier and Taylor & Francis and a recipient of a core research grant of 4.3 million INR for his work on DNA barcoding and morphometrics on Indian tardigrades.

Dr. Mahima Sharma is an Associate Professor in the Science and Humanities Department (Physics) of Compucom Institute of Technology and Management (CITM), Jaipur, Rajasthan. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida in 2020. Then worked as a Lecturer in Government Engineering College, Jhalawar Rajasthan for 3 Years. she is having 7 Years of Experience in the field of physics. Dr. R. Sharma is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras (Chennai). He earned his B.E. in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee (1994), completed an M.Tech in Ocean Engineering (1999), and received his PhD from IIT Kharagpur (2008). His research focuses on the design, analysis, and production of marine structures, along with marine robotics and dynamic data-driven forecasting systems. He is actively engaged in advancing ocean engineering solutions through interdisciplinary research that bridges structural engineering, robotics, and predictive modeling.
