Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). Dr. Sukumar Roy is an Indian Chemist and Scientist. He is the visionary former Additional General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited’s Ceramic Technological Institute. With over 32 years at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, he led various in-house R&D projects, focusing on nano-structured materials, ceramic membranes, SCR catalysts, electrical insulation, and acoustic paints. Holding a Ph.D. from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Dr. Roy has worked at esteemed institutions like the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research. He has published over 100 articles, guided numerous students, received prestigious academic awards, served on expert committees, and delivered over 200 invited lectures globally. Dr. Debashree De is a seasoned scientific writer (Ex-novartis) with 15 years of research experience. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Structural Biology and Biochemistry from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology in 2012 and earned her postdoctoral from Centro di Rierca E. Menni, Fondazione Poliambulanza- Istituto Ospedaliero, Brescia, Italy. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 2023. Before that, she worked as a JRF at the DBT-funded bioinformatics facility at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. Subsequently, she held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur. Dr. Ravichandran is Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry at DRK Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad. He earned his PhD (2006) from Madurai Kamaraj University and an MSc from Pondicherry University, and qualified GATE (95th percentile, 1998).
