Dr. Atul Vashist is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering and Allied Sciences (SEAS), Bennett University (Times of India Group), Greater Noida, India. He is the former Principal Scientist in the Department of Infection and Immunology, Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad, Haryana, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology from National JALMA Institute for Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra and earned his postdoctoral from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Cornell University, Ithaca, USA. He has more than 15 years of research and teaching experience for conducting laboratory sessions in Microbial Genetics, Molecular Biology and Recombinant DNA Technology. His Area of Expertise include infectious diseases, molecular biology, protein chemistry, mycobacteriology, nuclear medicine, hydrogel technology. To date, he is the author of 20 research articles published in peer reviewed international Journals and authored Five Book Chapters etc.

I received my bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry & Chemistry from University of Kashmir in 2018 and earned my master’s in Biochemistry from the same university. Dr. Aqsa is an Assistant Professor and researcher with over a decade of professional experience in academia and research, specializing in Criminal Law. She has supervised 40 undergraduate theses and served as a project coordinator for the ‘Standardized Module for Legal Awareness Program,’ a project undertaken by Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with the National Commission for Women in 2014. Dr. GAURAV MUDGAL is an Associate Professor in the University Institute of Biotechnology within Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. Previous to this he headed science clusters at Auronya College, Pondicherry and Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. He is a La Caixa fellow, and received his Ph.D. Degree in Molecular Biosciences with the highest distinction from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain in 2014 with his work on molecular biology of coronavirus-host interactions realized at the CSIC center of excellence -National Center of Biotechnology. He had previously worked as a nationally recruited scientific officer at the CGIAR headquarters of ICRISAT in Hyderabad and had handled many projects related to transgenic crop developments. He is having 16 years of research experience in biotechnology. His area of Expertise includes: Molecular biology of virus-host interactions, plant-microbe interaction, plant and animal biodiversity, underutilized crop translations and bioremediation. Dr. Kusuma Jagadish is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. She earned her PhD in Nanotechnology (2020) from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University and has 9 years of experience in materials science and nanotechnology. Her expertise includes materials synthesis for energy applications, particularly photovoltaics and third-generation solar cells.
