Dr. Darshan Panda is a Scientist in the Department of Crop Physiology & Biochemistry at the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Bidyadharpur, Cuttack. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology from Ravenshaw University in 2022. He is working currently as a Scientist at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack. He has published his research findings through the publication of over 50 articles in esteemed academic international journals. He has 10 years of experience in the fields of plant physiology, molecular biology and biotechnology. His area of expertise includes crop photobiology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, tissue culture and biotechnology. He is the author of two textbooks in biotechnology and microbiology.

Dr Harishchander Anandaram is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering and Networking, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioengineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, in 2020. In his PhD thesis, he worked on pharmacogenomics and miRNA- regulated networks in psoriasis, a joint project with Georgetown University, USA, JIPMER, INDIA, CIBA, INDIA, and ILS, INDIA. His thesis illustrated a multi-disciplinary approach by combining computational biophysics and molecular biology machine learning. Also, he had the opportunity to collaborate with international researchers and have publications in reputed international journals in bioinformatics and systems biology simultaneously. He has received the prestigious “Young Scientist Award” from “The Melinda Gates Foundation” for his research abstract on “The Implications of miRNA Dynamics in Infectious Diseases”. To date, he has reviewed more than 200 manuscripts in systems biology. He is currently working on predicting Novel lead molecules and biomarkers using computational techniques to target inflammatory pathways associated with infectious and autoimmune disorders.

Dr. Md Afroz Alam is a Professor and Head in the Department of Bioinformatics, at Shalom New Life College, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, Himachal Pradesh in 2009. Then he has worked as Assistant Professor, Head and Program Coordinator in the Department of Bioinformatics at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed University) for 11 Years. He is having 14 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Bioinformatics. His area of expertise includes: Computer Aided Drug Design, Molecular Modeling and Simulation, QSAR and Pharmacophore modeling, Biostatistics, R programming, Unix and Linux. Dr. Indra Neel Pulidindi works as an assistant professor at Saveetha Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) & Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Thandalam, Chennai, India. He serves as a Scientific Consultant at JSCIAR, India. He has also been rendering his services as a Visiting Professor at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, in the research group of Professor Sabu Thomas. Dr. GAURAV MUDGAL is an Associate Professor in the University Institute of Biotechnology within Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. Previous to this he headed science clusters at Auronya College, Pondicherry and Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. He had previously worked as a nationally recruited scientific officer at the CGIAR headquarters of ICRISAT in Hyderabad and had handled many projects related to transgenic crop developments. Dr. Mohd Zamir Pakhuruddin is currently the Director at Institute of Nano Optoelectronics Research and Technology (IDNOR) and a lecturer at School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. He spent about 8 years in industry as a Senior Engineer of Photolithography and Sputtering (R&D) in SilTerra and Fuji Electric, Kulim Hi-Tech Park respectively. He received his PhD in Photovoltaics Engineering at University of New South Wales(UNSW), Australia. His expertise is in Photovoltaic materials and devices (PVMD).
