Dr. Devendra Pal Singh is a former Principal Scientist/Professor in the Crop Protection Department of IIWBR Karnal at the University/ institute of ICAR-IIWBR Karnal. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Plant Pathology from GBPUAT&T Pantnagar University in 1985. Then worked as a Principal Scientist in ICAR-Indian Institute of Wheat & Barley Research Institute/University for 28 Years. He is having 37 Years of Experience in the field of Agriculture. Dr. Ruby Singh is the Director, Department of Bioinformatics at Gevanam Genomics Company, Lucknow. She earned her PhD in Biotechnology (2020) from Amity University and brings 6+ years of R&D experience, including roles as a Research Assistant at Biogenix, Lucknow and as a Medical Researcher at Crazy Fox Creations, Lucknow. Dr Harishchander Anandaram is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering and Networking, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Bioengineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, in 2020. In his PhD thesis, he worked on pharmacogenomics and miRNA- regulated networks in psoriasis, a joint project with Georgetown University, USA, JIPMER, INDIA, CIBA, INDIA, and ILS, INDIA. His thesis illustrated a multi-disciplinary approach by combining computational biophysics and molecular biology machine learning. Also, he had the opportunity to collaborate with international researchers and have publications in reputed international journals in bioinformatics and systems biology simultaneously. He has received the prestigious “Young Scientist Award” from “The Melinda Gates Foundation” for his research abstract on “The Implications of miRNA Dynamics in Infectious Diseases”. To date, he has reviewed more than 200 manuscripts in systems biology. He is currently working on predicting Novel lead molecules and biomarkers using computational techniques to target inflammatory pathways associated with infectious and autoimmune disorders.

Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California−Berkeley, Malaya and Al-Ahsa. With 46 books, over 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, over 19,500 citations and a Hirsch Index currently at 75, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. In the recent Stanford University study, he was ranked among the world’s top 0.5% scientists, and among the top 100 Indian scientists, independent of the area of specialisation. Among numerous coveted honours and awards received by him are the National Design Award in Environmental Engineering, the IPCL award for Safety and Hazard Management in Petroleum Industries, the National Hydrology Award, the International Desalination Association’s prize, and fellowships of the National Academy of Sciences and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers

Dr. Sanghdeep Gautam is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences at Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus).
He received his Ph.D. Degree in biotechnology from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Science and Technology, Prayagraj University . Dr. Gautam worked at Department of Microbiology as a Scientific Officer for molecular diagnosis of COVID-19 and central research laboratory at Krishna Mohan Medical College & Hospital, Mathura, up to December 2022. He has worked as seed analyst for DNA test at seed testing laboratory, Directorate of Seed & Farm, Shiats, Allahabad, Financed under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna. He has represented India in XVIII Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica during the season 2008-09 during a CSIR funded project entitled “Adaptive strategies of Antarctic Microflora under harsh environmental conditions in Schirmacher Oasis region, East Antarctica”. He has more than 11 years of experience in academics & research and taught various subjects like molecular biology, proteomics genomics, nanotechnology both at UG and PG level. He is CSIR-UGC-NET qualified in life sciences. He has supervised 12 post graduate students for their dissertation work. His Area of Expertise includes: Nano biotechnology and molecular biology. He has published research papers, review papers and book chapters in various international and national journals of repute.
Dr. Gautam has received Young Scientist Award 2023 by The Society of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists, India on the occasion of International Biomedical Laboratory Science Day, on April 14, 2023. He was holding National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research, Goa funded project fellowship 2008-2011. Dr. Gautam received UGC funded fellowship for doctoral degree 2012- 2017. Dr. Gautam was recognised as Distinguished speaker at national seminar on “ Advancement in Nanotechnology & Cancer Biology: An Emerging Healthcare Sector” organized by School of Life & Allied Sciences, BFIT College Dehradun.
