Dr. Abhishek Aher is a Project Scientist at the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology. He received his Ph.D. Degree in anti-cancer research from Centre for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics, Hyderabad, in 2023 and earned his postdoctoral from Lab of Immunology, CDFD Then working as a Project Scientist in CCMB. He has 9 Years of Experience in the field of Cancer drug discovery & development. His Area of Expertise includes Drug Discovery & Development for Cancer & Parkinson’s Disease. He is the author of 9 research articles many awards.
Dr. Rini Chaturvedi is a DST Inspire Faculty in the Department of Microbiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Structural parasitology from ICGEB, New Delhi University in 2021 and earned her postdoctoral from university of ICGEB, New Delhi. She is having 13 Years of Experience in the field of Molecular medicine. Her Area of Expertise includes: Structural Parasitology, Drug Discovery, Public Health, Immunology, epigenetics. She is the author of 21 research articles, DST INSPIRE Faculty grant recipient, Young Scientist award, etc.
Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California−Berkeley, Malaya and Al-Ahsa. With 46 books, over 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, over 19,500 citations and a Hirsch Index currently at 75, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. In the recent Stanford University study, he was ranked among the world’s top 0.5% scientists, and among the top 100 Indian scientists, independent of the area of specialisation. Among numerous coveted honours and awards received by him are the National Design Award in Environmental Engineering, the IPCL award for Safety and Hazard Management in Petroleum Industries, the National Hydrology Award, the International Desalination Association’s prize, and fellowships of the National Academy of Sciences and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers
Dr. Rishi Kumar Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biosciences at the IMS Ghaziabad (University courses Campus). He received his Ph.D. Degree in Environmental Biotechnology from Central University Assam, Silchar Campus and currently working as an Associate Professor in IMS Ghaziabad for last three Years. He is having more than 16 Years of Experience in the field of research and academics. His Area of Expertise includes: Environmental and Microbial Biotechnology, Industrial and fermentation technology and Plant tissue Culture. Dr. Mian Adnan Kakakhel is a Research Associate in the College of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at China Three Gorges University, Yichang, China. He earned his PhD from Lanzhou University (2022) and completed his postdoctoral research at China Three Gorges University (2025). With 3+ years of research experience in aquatic biology, toxicology, and nanotechnology, his work focuses on emerging pollutants, aquatic pollution, nano-toxicity, and fisheries-related research, including fish physiology and behavior.
A Cyber Law research scholar currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Legal Sciences, School of Law, Shoolini University (Solan), with an LLM in Constitutional Law (CGPA 8.75) and a B.A. LL.B (Eco. Hons.) specializing in International Law. Their work explores the intersection of law and technology, including predictive policing, AI in justice delivery, cyber law compliance, and facial recognition. Recipient of the Prof. Keith Harris Award and a Best Paper Presenter Award, they also co-founded and led university legal aid initiatives.
Dr. Dimple Thakar is an esteemed Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Marwadi University, with a prolific 20-year academic career intertwined with over three years of industry experience in IT and software development. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science specializing in steganography, she is a recognized expert in her field.
Dr. Thakar has a deep commitment to education and research, reflected in her roles as Research Coordinator and NAAC criteria coordinator at the Faculty of Computer Application, where she also serves as the Program Coordinator for the BCA course. Her extensive teaching repertoire includes advanced subjects such as Data Structures, C#.NET, Design Analysis and Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
In her previous roles, she served as an Associate Professor at the Sunshine Group of Institutions, where she was also the Academic Head of the MCA department and coordinated various programs and cultural activities. Her early career includes significant stints as a lecturer at Geetanjali College and Matushri Virbai Mahila College, enriching her teaching experience.
Dr. Thakar is also notable for her contributions to the IT industry, having developed critical software solutions for sectors including banking and manufacturing, demonstrating her proficiency in a variety of programming languages and technologies.
Her scholarly contributions are substantial, with numerous papers published in international journals and conferences. She is an active member of the editorial board of the Journal of Applied Science and Engineering Research and serves as a reviewer and committee member on several international conferences.
A passionate mentor and educator, Dr. Thakar is dedicated to fostering research and academic excellence among her students, making her a vital asset to both her university and the broader academic and professional communities.
Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 129; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has served as a professor at Purdue (2000-2005), Brown (2005-2012), and Northeastern (2012-2021; serving as Chemical Engineering Department Chair from 2012 – 2019) Universities and has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health in over 20,000 patients. His technology is also being used in commercial products to improve sustainability and renewable energy. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, Vellore Institute of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies. Prof. Webster and his team have over 1,350 publications with over 55,000 citations. He is a recent Nobel Prize in Chemistry Nominee.
Dr. Kumar earned his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering (2021) from UPES, Dehradun, with research focused on semantic information extraction using deep learning, particularly for agricultural applications. He is also pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship at Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana, Mexico. A prolific researcher, he has published 21+ SCI/SCIE-indexed articles and additional Scopus publications, contributed to books and book chapters, and holds a granted patent. He has supervised PhD candidates and delivered workshops and T3 sessions in machine learning, business analytics, and optimization, with interests spanning deep learning, IoT, and cybersecurity.
Dr. Anupriya Rana was working as “Scientist B” in the department of Patanjali Herbal Research Division, Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar, India. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Botany (Nanotechnology) from Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur in 2024. She has been an alumna of University of Delhi, Gargi College, 2016 batch and received an academic silver medal in her Masters in 2018. She had more than 6 years of research (Scientist B, Research Associate and DST Research Fellow) and academic experience. Her specialization is in Plant Nanotechnological research, Project coordination, Agri-Product Marketing, botanical studies, plant morphophysiological stress and mutations, Plant tissue culture and Biosynthesis. Dr. Pooja Devi is a Principal Scientist at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh. She is affiliated with the Materials Science and Sensor Application Department of CSIR-CSIO. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Engineering (Materials) from the Academy of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi in 2018. She has been working as a scientist at CSIR-CSIO since 2010. She is having 12 years of experience in the field of materials. Her major research interest includes materials design for green hydrogen production, water/air pollutants degradation, and water pollutants monitoring, materials engineering, techniques, and associated affordable and portable devices development for water pollutants detection, degradation, green hydrogen production, air purification, etc. She has filed 03 patents, 02 design registration, 01 copyright, transferred 02 technology, published 84 international high-impact publications, edited 07 books, 22 book chapters, 90 conference papers, and delivered 60 invited/oral talks. She has received funding/fellowships from DST, SERB, CSIR, ACS, IUSSTF, etc., for various projects. Dr. Galiveeti Poornima is a distinguished academician and researcher specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Presidency University, Bengaluru, she has devoted her research to pioneering advancements in Signed Language Recognition, particularly for Indian Sign Languages. Her expertise extends to the application of ML and AI in healthcare, IoT, and cybersecurity, where she has contributed significantly to the development of intelligent systems for medical diagnostics and social media analytics.
