Dr. Abhishek Aher is a Project Scientist at the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology. He received his Ph.D. Degree in anti-cancer research from Centre for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics, Hyderabad, in 2023 and earned his postdoctoral from Lab of Immunology, CDFD Then working as a Project Scientist in CCMB. He has 9 Years of Experience in the field of Cancer drug discovery & development. His Area of Expertise includes Drug Discovery & Development for Cancer & Parkinson’s Disease. He is the author of 9 research articles many awards.

Prof S. A. Abbasi has been a Full University Professor and centre director during 1987-2015 and is an Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it he was Head-in-charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87), and a Visiting-cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984-1987). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California−Berkeley, Malaya and Al-Ahsa. With 46 books, over 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, over 19,500 citations and a Hirsch Index currently at 75, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. In the recent Stanford University study, he was ranked among the world’s top 0.5% scientists, and among the top 100 Indian scientists, independent of the area of specialisation. Among numerous coveted honours and awards received by him are the National Design Award in Environmental Engineering, the IPCL award for Safety and Hazard Management in Petroleum Industries, the National Hydrology Award, the International Desalination Association’s prize, and fellowships of the National Academy of Sciences and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers

Currently, he is a proactive member of the climate change education research community at Cambridge University Press, the World Commission on Environmental Law of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and the United Nations Ocean Decade Network. Dr. Siva Mohan Reddy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.She/he received his/her Ph.D. Degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science in 2013 and earned his/her postdoctoral from York University. Then he is working as a Faculty in Department of Chemical Engg, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee from 2015 onwards. He/she is having 10 Years of Experience in the field of nanomaterial synthesis, bio- nanomaterials, nano-carbon materials for energy and environment. Her/his Area of Expertise includes: Nano carbon hybrid materials, H2 production from biomass, Biofuels, Bio- nanomaterials, Waste water treatment, Solid and liquid waste management, Nanocatalysts for energy and environment applications. She/he is the author of 50 international peer review journal papers, has ongoing/completed more than 3 crore grant from different funding agencies, and recipient of Young Influential Researcher – Asia 2023 by ACS.

She received her Ph.D. Degree in Dairy Microbiology from ICAR- NATIONAL DAIRY RESEARCH INSTITUTE in 2022. Then worked as an Assistant professor at Gautam Buddha University. Currently working as Dean (Research and Innovation) and Dean & Professor at the School of Bioengineering and Sciences (SBE&S) at Shobhit University, Gangoh, Dist.-Saharanpur, UP. He is also a Senior Professor of Biophysics and Bio-Engineering at SBE&LS at Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed-to-be-University), Meerut. He has earned M. Tech. in Biotechnology and Engineering from the Department of Chemical Engineering of IIT, Kharagpur, a Ph.D. from BITS, Pilani, and also earned the Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration. He was honoured with D.Sc (h.c.) by IUCM, Colombo, Sri Lanka for his extraordinary contribution to producing large-scale biomass or herbal medicine production. He was also a Research Faculty at the Department of Botany at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, and the Department of Biological Sciences at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
