The ethical issues of AI in psychology refer to the set of moral obligations and structural harms arising from AI use in clinical or research contexts. These include algorithmic bias in diagnosis, erosion of informed consent, patient confidentiality breaches, and the absence of meaningful human oversight in high-stakes mental health decisions.
