iPSC, Organoids, Microphysiology & Organ-on-Chip: Experimental Design, Validation & Drug Testing
From Stem Cells to Human-Relevant Models: Design, Validate and Interpret iPSC, Organoid & Organ-on-Chip Experiments
About This Course
This 3-day live virtual workshop introduces advanced human-relevant in-vitro models used in disease modeling, drug discovery, toxicology and translational research.
Participants will learn how iPSC-derived models progress from 2D cell systems to spheroids, organoids and dynamic microphysiological/organ-on-chip platforms. Guided hands-on cases will help participants evaluate model quality, analyze experimental data and design reliable follow-up experiments.
Aim
To provide participants with a practical understanding of iPSC, spheroid, organoid, microphysiology and organ-on-chip experimental workflows, with emphasis on experimental design, quality control, validation, troubleshooting and drug-response interpretation.
Workshop Objectives
- Understand iPSC culture, differentiation and quality-control workflows
- Design healthy, disease and isogenic experimental groups
