About This Course

Environmental exposure to persistent chemicals, particularly per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), presents growing challenges for environmental monitoring, toxicology and public health research. Understanding complex chemical mixtures and their potential health implications requires advanced computational approaches and data-driven analytical methods.

This 3-day hands-on workshop introduces participants to AI-powered environmental exposomics, PFAS biomonitoring, chemical mixture analysis and predictive exposure modeling. Through practical Google Colab sessions, participants will explore public environmental exposure datasets, apply Python-based statistical analysis, identify chemical co-exposure patterns using machine learning and investigate computational approaches to environmental risk prioritization.

The workshop integrates CDC NHANES, EPA CompTox, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), K-means clustering and Random Forest to provide a practical understanding of modern environmental exposure research, computational toxicology and AI-assisted risk analysis.

Aim
