About Mayank Bhushan
Dr. Mayank Bhushan is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, with extensive expertise in nanobiotechnology, biomaterials, and nanomedicine. He holds a PhD in Nanoscience and Technology from Pondicherry University and has a strong background in synthesizing, characterizing, and applying nanomaterials for biomedical, environmental, and energy applications.
Dr. Bhushan has over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and mentorship, guiding M.Tech and PhD students in projects involving nanomaterials, biosensors, green energy technologies, and environmental nanotechnology. His hands-on expertise spans advanced instrumentation and techniques, including XRD, UV-Vis, PL, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, TEM, VSM, TG-DTA, EDAX, XPS, electrospinning, sol-gel, hydrothermal, and solvothermal synthesis methods.
He has authored numerous high-impact research articles and book chapters, contributing to advancements in nanomedicine, biosensors, and environmental nanotechnology, and serves on editorial and reviewer boards of several prestigious journals. Dr. Bhushan’s research combines fundamental science with practical applications, making him a recognized authority in nanobiotechnology, bioengineering, and sustainable nanomaterials.
Fluent in English and Hindi, he is committed to mentoring students, fostering interdisciplinary research, and translating nanotechnology innovations into practical solutions for healthcare, environmental, and energy challenges.
