Meet The Mentors

Dr. Galiveeti Poornima is a distinguished academician and researcher specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Presidency University, Bengaluru, she has devoted her research to pioneering advancements in Signed Language Recognition, particularly for Indian Sign Languages. Her expertise extends to the application of ML and AI in healthcare, IoT, and cybersecurity, where she has contributed significantly to the development of intelligent systems for medical diagnostics and social media analytics.

I’m Progyadipta Naskar, an Electronics and Communication Engineering student passionate about AI/ML, robotics, embedded systems, IoT, antenna design, and space communication technologies.

I have worked on projects involving microstrip patch antennas, inter-satellite laser communication, AI-based healthcare systems, robotic automation, cybersecurity, and local LLM-based AI assistants. I have also gained experience through internships and opportunities with IIT Kanpur, IEEE EMBS Pune, CDAC Noida, and IEEE initiatives.

Along with research and project development, I enjoy teaching and mentoring students in AI, robotics, electronics, and IoT. My long-term interest lies in contributing to antenna research, RF systems, and space communication technologies.

Dr. Noopur Singh is a freelance researcher in the field of Bioinformatics. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics from Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 2023. Before that, she worked as a JRF at the DBT-funded bioinformatics facility at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. Subsequently, she held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur. Dr. Noopur has over 10 years of experience in the field of Bioinformatics. Her area of expertise includes Computer Aided Drug Design, Molecular Modeling, Gene Editing, NGS Data Analysis, Sequence Analysis, and Gene Prediction. She has authored 7 research publications.

I am Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav, a PhD in Medical Biochemistry with strong experience in academic teaching, clinical laboratory management, medical biochemistry, diagnostic laboratory techniques, and healthcare operations.

I am currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry at KIST Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu. I have also served as Operational Head at Sooriya Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., where I gained extensive experience in laboratory management and helped establish an ‘A’ category laboratory in Nepal.

My professional background includes teaching medical and laboratory science students, managing healthcare laboratory operations, consulting for the establishment of GAMCA medical centers across Nepal, India, and Bangladesh, and conducting research in medical biochemistry, oxidative stress, epilepsy models, thyroid function, metabolic syndrome, and clinical diagnostics.

I am passionate about combining technical expertise, academic leadership, research knowledge, and laboratory management skills to contribute to medical education, diagnostic excellence, and healthcare system development.

Dr. Ruby Singh is the Director, Department of Bioinformatics at Gevanam Genomics Company, Lucknow. She earned her PhD in Biotechnology (2020) from Amity University and brings 6+ years of R&D experience, including roles as a Research Assistant at Biogenix, Lucknow and as a Medical Researcher at Crazy Fox Creations, Lucknow. Her expertise includes cell culture, microbiology, bioinformatics, and review writing. She has 8 publications and has edited 1 book in aquaculture and bioinformatics.

Dr. Anupriya Rana was working as “Scientist B” in the department of Patanjali Herbal Research Division, Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar, India. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Botany (Nanotechnology) from Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur in 2024. She has been an alumna of University of Delhi, Gargi College, 2016 batch and received an academic silver medal in her Masters in 2018. She had more than 6 years of research (Scientist B, Research Associate and DST Research Fellow) and academic experience. Her specialization is in Plant Nanotechnological research, Project coordination, Agri-Product Marketing, botanical studies, plant morphophysiological stress and mutations, Plant tissue culture and Biosynthesis. She has published 4 original articles and 1 book chapter.

I am Dr. Bede Adazie, a multidisciplinary professional with expertise in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Full-Stack Development, and AI Engineering. I am a serial entrepreneur, startup leader, Co-Founder of Centuarium Investments Limited, and a dedicated STEM educator. My interests include research, sports, international politics, AI, and innovation-driven business development.

I am Dr. Meena Gupta, an accomplished physiotherapist and researcher with extensive experience in neurorehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and assistive technologies. I have worked across neurofeedback, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and cognitive rehabilitation, specializing in spastic cerebral palsy and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Health Allied Sciences, where I teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses while mentoring research projects. I have a strong background in clinical neurophysiology, biomedical engineering applications, and patient safety in healthcare. My research contributions have been published in prestigious Web of Science, Scopus, and SCI-indexed journals.

I have authored books and book chapters on neurorehabilitation, digital healthcare, robotic rehabilitation, and assistive technology for the disabled, and I have presented my research globally. In recognition of my work, I have received various awards, including the Dr. M.B. Athreya Award for best research in the field of disability.

I am passionate about advancing rehabilitative care, developing innovative neurofeedback and therapeutic approaches, and empowering patients with neurodevelopmental disorders through cutting-edge research and evidence-based clinical practice.

Dr. Nabeel Ahmad is Dean at School of Allied Sciences and Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Over 14 year of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has published several research papers in National and International peer reviewed journals. He also served as Editor in three books on nanobiotechnology namely 3 D Printing Technology in Nanomedicine, Intelligent Nanomaterials for Drug Delivery Applications and Emerging Nanotechnologies for Medical Applications published by Elsevier Pennsylvania USA. He also serving as eminent member of Editorial Board of Journal of International repute. In addition to that, seven patents are also in his credit on nanobiotechnology and discussion is going on to transfer the technology to three organizations to commercialize the same. The same has already been highlighted in the National news papers. Recipient of prestigious fellowship including the Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) fellowship under Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Department of Science & Technology (DST) New Delhi. He is the Fellow of Linnean Society (FLS) London. His areas of research are nanobiotechnology, nanosensors, and bioprocess engineering.

Samuel Mwangi Machatha is a Project Manager and Administrative Professional with over 6 years of experience in NGO coordination, logistics, financial management, community mobilization, business development, stakeholder engagement, and project execution. He is currently working as a Business Development Officer at Proserve Training Institute, where he supports strategic enrollment planning, market research, outreach campaigns, school/community partnerships, and promotional activities. His previous experience includes working with Better Education for Youth Initiative NGO BEYI, Uplands Premium Dairies & Foods Ltd, Kenya Biogas Program, USAID, and Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization. He has expertise in project planning, budget management, report writing, data collection, logistics coordination, advocacy campaigns, and training/capacity building. He is also pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology.
