Meet The Mentors

Gayathri Gunarathna is an experienced Lecturer in Computing and ICT Teacher from Sri Lanka with strong academic and technical expertise in computing, software engineering, programming, web development, and database systems. She currently serves as a Lecturer in Computing/IT at Londontec City Campus, where she delivers IT modules, prepares teaching materials, guides students in programming and web technologies, and supports academic progress. She has also worked as a Senior ICT Teacher and Web Developer, gaining practical experience in teaching, curriculum delivery, software development, system maintenance, and technical troubleshooting. She holds UK qualifications including an MSc in Computing from Wrexham Glyndŵr University and a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from Kingston University. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, digitalisation in education, emerging computing technologies, and digital forensics.

I am Dr. Meena Gupta, an accomplished physiotherapist and researcher with extensive experience in neurorehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and assistive technologies. I have worked across neurofeedback, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and cognitive rehabilitation, specializing in spastic cerebral palsy and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Health Allied Sciences, where I teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses while mentoring research projects. I have a strong background in clinical neurophysiology, biomedical engineering applications, and patient safety in healthcare. My research contributions have been published in prestigious Web of Science, Scopus, and SCI-indexed journals.

I have authored books and book chapters on neurorehabilitation, digital healthcare, robotic rehabilitation, and assistive technology for the disabled, and I have presented my research globally. In recognition of my work, I have received various awards, including the Dr. M.B. Athreya Award for best research in the field of disability.

I am passionate about advancing rehabilitative care, developing innovative neurofeedback and therapeutic approaches, and empowering patients with neurodevelopmental disorders through cutting-edge research and evidence-based clinical practice.

Dr. Galiveeti Poornima is a distinguished academician and researcher specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Presidency University, Bengaluru, she has devoted her research to pioneering advancements in Signed Language Recognition, particularly for Indian Sign Languages. Her expertise extends to the application of ML and AI in healthcare, IoT, and cybersecurity, where she has contributed significantly to the development of intelligent systems for medical diagnostics and social media analytics.

Dr. Jyoti Gangane is a Professor in the E&TC Department at Vishwaniketan’s iMEET (University of Mumbai). She earned her PhD in Wireless Communication from the University of Malaga, Spain (2016) and brings 32 years of experience in Electronics and Telecommunication. Her expertise includes digital signal processing (DSP) and wireless communication, with strong experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership.

Mr. Rajnish Tandon is a seasoned industry professional with 35+ years of global experience across India, the USA, and Europe, spanning Sales Management, IT Operations, SAP Implementation, and AI/ML. He is a guest faculty at institutions including Chandigarh University, NIFT Delhi, and IIM Kashipur, where he teaches AI/ML, Blockchain, and Critical Thinking. He completed an M.Tech in AI-ML from BITS Pilani (2024), holds an MBA from FMS (1996), and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT Jaipur (1985).

MR. SYED KRAR HAIDER BUKHARI is Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and associated with Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Superior University, Lahore. He received the Master of Science degree in computer science (MSCS) from FAST NUCES Islamabad, Pakistan in 2022. He has 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, image processing, computer Vision, deep Learning ,NLP and Generative AI.He is currently working as an Data Scientist at digital DirAction. He is mentor and AI / ML Trainer at DirAction. He worked remotely as an AI / ML engineer at TPL UK based company. He is Editorial Board Member at STM Journals. He also worked remotely as an AI / ML engineer. He recived distinguished awards in research funds for his publications.His research publication includes in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, computer Vision, NLP, and deep learning.

I’m Progyadipta Naskar, an Electronics and Communication Engineering student passionate about AI/ML, robotics, embedded systems, IoT, antenna design, and space communication technologies.

I have worked on projects involving microstrip patch antennas, inter-satellite laser communication, AI-based healthcare systems, robotic automation, cybersecurity, and local LLM-based AI assistants. I have also gained experience through internships and opportunities with IIT Kanpur, IEEE EMBS Pune, CDAC Noida, and IEEE initiatives.

Along with research and project development, I enjoy teaching and mentoring students in AI, robotics, electronics, and IoT. My long-term interest lies in contributing to antenna research, RF systems, and space communication technologies.

Aishwar Singh Shekhawat is a Cybercrime Investigation Expert and Security Analyst dedicated to protecting digital infrastructures and combating emerging cyber threats. He has expertise in ethical hacking, digital forensics, and network security, utilizing the industry standard tools effectively identify, investigate, and mitigate cyber risks.
In his current role as an Information Security Analyst at iSON Xperiences, he conducts in-depth audits to strengthen network security, investigates phishing emails to trace threat sources, and implements preventive measures to ensure compliance with industry standards. His proactive efforts have significantly improved network security by uncovering vulnerabilities and contributing to the development of threat mitigation strategies.
Aishwar also brings experience as an expert in ISO27001 standard, helping organizations secure their processes and information. He assists companies in complying with ISO27001 standards to meet regulatory and client requirements. He has conducted detailed site reviews in various countries such as India and as well as in Africa. This work ensures that organizations maintain robust information security management systems and achieve robust systems and procedures in alignment with international standards.
In addition to his expertise network security, Aishwar is proficient in web technologies, with skills in understanding how websites operate. With a strong commitment to continuous learning and a forward-thinking approach to cybersecurity, he aims to collaborate with organizations that prioritize digital resilience.
His mission is to protect individuals and businesses from the evolving dangers of the digital landscape. This combination of technical expertise, compliance knowledge, and strategic thinking makes him a valuable contributor to achieving robust cyber resilience.

Sanjay Bhargava is a results-driven business and technology management consultant with 3+ years of experience leading large-scale digital transformation, IT service delivery optimization, and corporate training, with a strong specialization in Artificial Intelligence. As a Business IT Management Consultant at Ignite IT Consulting & Educational Services, he helps organizations leverage AI, RPA, GenAI (LLM/RAG), and automation to drive efficiency and growth, using design thinking and cross-functional global delivery models.

I am Saurav Singh, a results-driven Consultant and Mentor with over 3 years of experience in innovation-based education, mentoring, and public policy. I have served as a Regional Mentor of Change under Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, where I guided over 50 Atal Tinkering Labs and mentored more than 3000 students in innovation, design thinking, and entrepreneurship projects across Bihar and Jharkhand.

With a strong background in technology, education strategy, and social innovation, I have contributed to the development of innovation ecosystems and policy research. I am passionate about driving data-driven program management and am eager to contribute to Wadhwani Foundation’s mission of fostering innovation and employability.

I am currently focusing on UPSC preparation with a special interest in public policy and governance, while continuing my work as an independent consultant in education and innovation projects.

Dr. Shiv Kumar Verma is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Sharda University. He earned his PhD in Mathematical Computing from IIT Roorkee (2014) and completed his postgraduate studies in Computer Applications from IIT Roorkee. With 25 years of experience across mathematics and computer science, his expertise includes machine learning, medical imaging, and mathematical computing, with strong experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership.
