About
The CCNA & CCNP Certifications program is designed to provide hands-on training in networking concepts, routing and switching, security, automation, and advanced Cisco technologies. Participants will gain expertise in network design, troubleshooting, and optimization, preparing them for CCNA (200-301) and CCNP Enterprise (350-401 ENCOR & 300-410 ENARSI) certification exams.
Aim
To equip participants with foundational and advanced networking skills to prepare for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certifications, enabling them to design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise networks.
Program Objectives
- To provide hands-on training for Cisco networking fundamentals and advanced routing.
- To develop expertise in switching, security, WAN technologies, and network automation.
- To prepare participants for CCNA & CCNP certification exams.
- To train professionals in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise networks.
- To introduce network automation and cloud networking best practices.
Program Structure
Week 1: Advanced Routing Protocols and Network Design
Module 1: Advanced Routing (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
- Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
- Advanced features: Load Balancing, Route Summarization.
- Troubleshooting EIGRP issues.
- Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
- OSPF Area Types, LSAs, and Neighbor Adjacency.
- Configuring OSPF Multi-Area.
- Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
- Understanding iBGP vs. eBGP.
- BGP Peering, Route Reflectors, and Path Selection.
Hands-On Lab:
- Configuring multi-area OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
Module 2: Advanced Switching Technologies
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) & EtherChannel
- Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) and Multiple Spanning Tree (MST).
- Configuring and Troubleshooting EtherChannel.
- Cisco SD-Access & Intent-Based Networking
- Overview of Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
- Introduction to Cisco SD-Access & SDA Fabric.
Hands-On Lab:
- Implementing STP and EtherChannel configurations.
Week 2: Security, VPNs, and Network Services
Module 3: Network Security and VPN Technologies
- Securing Networks with Access Control Lists (ACLs) & Firewalls
- Standard vs. Extended ACLs.
- Configuring Cisco Firewalls (ASA).
- Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
- Configuring Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs.
- Implementing IPSec & SSL VPNs.
Hands-On Lab:
- Implementing ACLs and configuring VPNs on Cisco routers.
Module 4: High Availability and Network Services
- High Availability Concepts
- HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol) and VRRP.
- Load Balancing and Redundancy.
- Network Services and QoS
- Configuring DHCP, NAT, and NTP.
- Understanding QoS Traffic Shaping & Policing.
Hands-On Lab:
- Configuring HSRP and QoS policies in a Cisco network.
Week 3: Network Automation, Troubleshooting, and CCNP Exam Prep
Module 5: Network Automation & SD-WAN
- Cisco SD-WAN Overview
- Components of Cisco SD-WAN: vEdge, vSmart, vManage.
- Implementing SD-WAN policies and traffic engineering.
- Python for Network Automation
- Using Python & REST APIs to automate Cisco devices.
- Introduction to Ansible for network automation.
Hands-On Lab:
- Automating network tasks using Python & Cisco DevNet.
Module 6: Advanced Troubleshooting & CCNP Exam Prep
- Advanced Troubleshooting Techniques
- Diagnosing Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues.
- Troubleshooting BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- CCNP Exam Preparation Strategies
- Practice Labs & Real-World Case Studies.
- Exam Simulation and Study Tips.
Hands-On Lab:
- Troubleshooting an enterprise network using Cisco tools.
