Workshop Structure
📅 Day 1 – Foundations of Neural Networks and AI in Neuroscience
- Introduction to Intelligent Machines
- Understanding the Significance of Relationship between AI and Neuroscience
- How biological neural networks helped in the development of artificial neural networks (ANNs)
- How ANNs are helping in the understanding of Neural behaviours like Cognition
📅 Day 2 – Prediction of Neurological Disorders using Non-electrophysiological Signals
- Introduction to Gait Analyses in Ataxia (a neurological disorder)
- Solving Ataxia Classification and Regression problem using AI/ML technique
- Demo on prediction of Ataxia using transformer based neural network
📅 Day 3 – Prediction of Neuropsychiatric Disorders using Electrophysiological Signals
- Recording of EEG
- Introduction to Quantitative EEG
- Data Preprocessing pipelines: artifact removal, filtering, ICA
- Extracting Quantitative EEG markers for Machine learning Applications in neurological disease prediction
